VIRGIN STEELE TO RELEASE DELUXE REISSUE OF "NOBLE SAVAGE"

IN STORES MAY 17 ON SPV/STEAMHAMMER

American heavy metal masters VIRGIN STEELE are proud to announce that they will be reissuing their classic 1986 album "Noble Savage". The album will released May 17th in North America on SPV/Steamhammer. This deluxe reissue will be available as a double CD digipak as well as a double gatefold LP.

"Noble Savage" is the third album from the American heavy metal band VIRGIN STEELE. The album was released in 1986 by Cobra Records. Before the "Noble Savage" recordings, original guitarist Jack Starr resigned from the band and was replaced by Edward Pursino, an old friend of DeFeis' whose guitar playing fit perfectly with VIRGIN STEELE'S music and style. Pursino's contribution came also in the form of new musical ideas and compositions and to this day, he is still a mainstay in VIRGIN STEELE'S line-up. The band's front man David Defeis considers this album one of the most important in the history of the band. The disc was the first in which the band was completely satisfied with the music and sound. The current musical style of the band is fully manifested, containing grandiose compositions with multilayered keyboard sound and more sophisticated arrangements than in previous albums. "Noble Savage" has become one of the most POPULAR VIRGIN STEELE albums and it includes the songs "We Rule the Night" and "Noble Savage", which the band still plays in concert.
