ARRAYAN PATH new album details

PITCH BLACK RECORDS is thrilled to announce the release of ARRAYAN PATH’s third album, which as previously announced will be titled “Ira Imperium”. A follow-up to last year’s highly acclaimed “Terra Incognita” (nominated for IMPALA’s European Independent Album of the Year Award) “Ira Imperium” can only be described with one word: MASTERPIECE! Fans of melodic epic power metal should brace themselves!

“Ira Imperium” features a guest appearance by the legendary Tony Martin (ex BLACK SABBATH) and also sees the return of Vagelis Maranis (SANVOISEN) lending his voice on several songs. The main voice throughout the album remains the same of course; that of Nicholas Leptos, the driving force behind ARRAYAN PATH whose unmistakable charismatic voice is the finishing touch to the brilliantly passionate sound of ARRAYAN PATH. Completing the lineup are Socrates Leptos and Alexis Kleidaras on guitars, Vagelis Maranis on bass, George Kallis on keyboards and Stefan Dittrich on drums.

Recorded and mixed at Maranis Studios in Germany, “Ira Imperium” is released worldwide on November 4th (November 7th in the UK) with a bonus track featured on the CD version. Also through major mp3 stores, while a limited edition will also be available for die-hard fans, details of which will be revealed later.

Not only am I a fan of Saint’s music, but there are so many family ties with those guys since Joey Vera for several years played bass -- on albums and live -- in SEVEN WITCHES and he has mastered, engineered, and/or mixed on all the WITCHES albums since Exiled To Infinity And One in 2002. It's gonna be a fun night and WITCHES will try our best to warm you all up for the mighty Saint. This is also a very special for us because it will be a one-time run with this special lineup. GODS AND QUEENS: Fall European Tour Confirmed; Three Releases Now Streaming

Philadelphia-based indie bandits GODS AND QUEENS have confirmed a new date European tour, set to take place through most of November and into December, with twenty-five shows confirmed at press time. Having already toured Europe four times since 2009 -- three of the trips fully self-booked -- this latest venture sees the band again taking their angular, nonconformist rock and unpredictable live show to European fans, invading underworld venues they’ve antagonized previously as well as new scenes.

GODS AND QUEENS have almost been killed driving off a cliff in the Massif Central region of France, accidentally stabbed their European driver early this year, resulting in 38 stitches, and once finished a five-week tour of Europe with a broken-footed drummer. Besides headlining several of their own DIY-booked Euro tours, they’ve also toured stateside with Coliseum, Blacklisted, Young Widows and more. Their live shows consist of a raucous blend of volume and seriousness, blatant antagonism aimed directly towards the audience, or ditching their own songs mid-set to play the entire Land Speed record by Hüsker Dü.

The GODS AND QUEENS lineup is led by guitar/vocals Jamie Getz (ex-Lickgoldensky, ex-Versoma), joined by bassist Ben Roysden (Fire In the Hearts And Minds) and drummer Jeff Ziga (Armalite, Affirmative Action Jackson). Existing in their own musical purgatory -- too heavy to be an idie rock band, yet too indie rock to be a heavy band -- they play noisy, melodic rock, not far off from, and directly influenced by 1990′s stalwarts Unwound, Lowercase, June Of 44, Lush or Lungfish, yet they mostly get booked on metal shows. With releases out via Robotic Empire, Adagio830 and Sons Of Vesta, all records in the GODS AND QUEENS catalog are Untitled, and all of their song titles are "Untitled" followed by a number. Stream all three Untitled records now on their Bandcamp page.

Hailing from the streets of Brooklyn, New York, HULL has yet again emerged with a creation to outlive the ages with latest saga, Beyond The Lightless Sky. Digging further into the past, the Mayan epic takes the listener through a division of two brothers and the struggles that they are faced with. One finds salvation amongst the stars and the wisdom of a stranger, while the other is mesmerized with the bloodthirsty belief of sacrifice and self mutilation. In silence lies a realm that exists outside the plane of fear.

Beyond The Lightless Sky features guest appearances by vocalist Jarboe, keys/ambiance by Fade Kainer (Batillus/Jarboe/Inswarm ) and cello by Joe Merolla with artwork by Tamara Waite-Santibanez (

The second track from the album, "Resuscitate/Suffocate" is a prime example of HEARTLESS' ultra-brutalizing musical nature; purely hateful aggression as displayed through pummeling, morose, low-end/high-speed riffage.

UK Artist Butcher The Bar Debuts New Gravity-Defying Video, Announces European Dates with Death Cab For Cutie

Manchester UK artist Butcher The Bar (aka Joel Nicholson) has debuted a brand new, gravity-defying video for "Alpha Street West," taken from his newest Morr Music release, For Each A Future Tethered. The video comes just in time for a European tour with select dates supporting Death Cab For Cutie. Ben Gibbard first discovered Nicholson's songs earlier this year and started recommending them on the band's Twitter. A few months later he asked Nicholson to join them on the road.

Watch the Video for "Alpha Street West" at Vimeo

Butcher The Bar gave us insight into his deepest thoughts three years ago with his debut, Sleep At Your Own Speed, an album that dealt with the uncertainties of growing up - recorded in the intimate light of his bedroom. In For Each A Future Tethered he shares his personal story with wispy serene vocals and creative arrangements. There is a wider range of musical accompaniment, with the inclusion of trumpets, clarinets, harmoniums and pianos, resulting in a richer, more developed sound. The music is somewhat reminiscent of label mates Seabear, but his earnest songwriting is true to the tradition of great songwriters like Nick Drake, Paul Simon and Elliott Smith.

ACCEPT BEGINS WORK ON NEW ALBUM

Following the tremendous success of ACCEPT’s comeback album Blood Of The Nations and the accompanying world tour (more than 180 shows around the globe), these German heavy metal legends have now withdrawn from the stage to start work on their next CD.

The band is currently writing material for their new album with British producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, NEVERMORE, ARCH ENEMY) at the helm.

Comments ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffman:

“ACCEPT and Andy Sneap have the perfect synergy. This was so clear with Blood Of The Nations and we are excited to continue on that path. Andy is not only an amazing and prolific producer, but also a very good friend who has long become a member of the ACCEPT family.”

Blood Of The Nations has sold 27,000 copies in the U.S. since its release last September according to Nielsen Soundscan. It debuted as the #25 Rock Album on iTunes and at #187 on The Billboard 200 chart, #170 on the Top Current Albums chart, and on the #41 Independent Albums chart. NECROCURSE: Swedish Death Metallers Join Pulverised Records

Rising from the filth-lands of Uddevalla and Ljungskile, Sweden, NECROCURSE was spawned in 2004 with a penchant for all things brutal and ugly. Featuring current and past members of Nifelheim, Necronaut, Runemagick, Deathwitch and Swordmaster (among others), the band is now ready to unleash their chaos upon an unsuspecting underground via Singapore's Pulverised Records in 2012.

Comments the band in a collective statement: "The time has come for the death metal rebels to rise from the grave, and forge a full album release of the Metal of Death! NECROCURSE are proud to announce the collaboration with Pulverised Records for the upcoming, as-yet-untitled album. The release will be recorded during the coming winter and include at least nine tracks of insane morbid death…"

Adds Pulverised Records label manager, Roy Yeo: "Having NECROCURSE on our roster was an easy choice as the musical style and direction of NECROCURSE fits perfectly with what Pulverised Records is all about: quality and authentic death metal. We knew immediately that the band needed a proper full-length album to further showcase their devastating brand of Swedish death metal at its finest!

In other NECROCURSE-related news, the band recently unleashed a brand new 7" EP entitled Insane Curse Of Morbidity earlier this month via Aftermath Music.
