KATAKLYSM shoot music video at home town show

Montreal based extreme metallers KATAKLYSM will film a video clip for the song "At the Edge of the World " this Sunday at the bands hometown show at Club Soda in Montreal. This will also mark the end to the bands “Spread the Venom” European/North American tour. “At the Edge of the World” comes from the bands latest acclaimed album Heaven's Venom

Already a favorite amongst fans and satellite radio providers such as SIRIUS/XM, the “At the Edge of the World” video clip will be filmed by director Tommy Jones (DEATH ANGEL, SOILWORK), who is also helming the bands upcoming Documentary /DVD "THE IRON WILL: 20 YEARS DETERMINED". 

Last but not least, the band will sport the cover of Montreal’s most important weekly paper this week, The Mirror, for the first time ever! Check out the cover here

KATAKLYSM were recently made the first band to feature Rock Band’s new double bass drum pedal application! This feature is now on Rock Band versions 2 and 3. The following songs are now available for purchase and game play:

KATAKLYSM’s new album Heaven’s Venom was released on August 24th in North America and sold around 2,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 7 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart and #196 on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart, making it the bands highest charting album and their biggest first week sales to date. Heatseekers lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Heaven’s Venom was recorded by KATAKLYSM guitarist J-F  Dagenais (MALEVOLENT CREATION, MISERY INDEX) and was mixed by Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MNEMIC, DARK TRANQUILLITY).

a video clip for the song "Push The Venom" with director Ivan Colic (TYPE O NEGATIVE, UNLEASHED, DEATHSTARS, EX DEO)  in Belgrade, Serbia. The clip can be viewed here .
