Kut U Up Reunite and Record Kickstarter Campaign

After several long years, KUT U UP has decided to get their shit together and reunite. Applauded for their innate ability to cause havoc, concern authorities, and leave destruction and laughter in their wake, they've been busy writing new songs, with new concepts, themes and ideas, and now they need to record.

KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/clintweiler/kut-u-up-reunite-and-record

It's been a long journey for the band known by many as those crazy guys who made a documentary about their 2003 "Pop Disaster" tour with Green Day, Blink 182, and Jimmy Eat World. The result, "Riding In Vans With Boys" was unfettered, shit-faced, start-to-finish hilarity mixed with real-life drama. Alot has changed since those days, but the band's passion to perform has not.

KUT U UP was honored when Andy Irons (RIP) chose their song "Make It Out Alive" to accompany his winning "Video Part Of The Year" segment in Campaign. An incredible accolade for a band so close to the surfing community.

The official reformation of the band was marked by their reunion performance in San Diego on July 21. This momentous occasion was used to announce the launch of this Kickstarter campaign, thus opening a new chapter in the band's ever-evolving story.

KUT U UP would like the opportunity to record all of their new material in a good studio... That's what this campaign is all about. The majority of the funds raised will go towards recording and mastering expenses, with the remainder being used to create merch and promote the new album (which is yet to be named).
