EVERCLEAR AND SINCLARITY KICK OFF NEW YEAR WITH INTIMATE SHOWS

Alternative rockers Sinclarity will join Everclear as special guests on several East Coast dates in Jan 2012.

"It's always an honor to share the stage with Everclear," said Sinclarity frontman Matt Holmes. "Despite all their success, they treat every show and every fan like they matter, and that is rare this day in age. We're definitely excited for these shows. They are going to be a lot of fun."

The string of dates will see the young Pennsylvania band joining the alt-rock legends, responsible for the mega-hits like "Santa Monica" and "Father of Mine" in the mid-'90s, for a series of intimate shows in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The tour will kick off on January 11 at the Legendary Dobbs (formerly JC Dobbs) in Philadelphia.

"Back in the mid-'90s, I remember playing JC Dobbs, checking out South Street and looking up at the TLA Marquee and thinking, 'It's so huge - that's where we gotta play," recalled Everclear mainman Art Alexakis. "We are looking forward to coming back and playing for an intimate crowd. Everclear plays the same way, whether we are playing for 200 or 20,000."

Sinclarity is due to release its self-titled debut EP this spring. The band recently filmed a video for the EP's track "Wake Up" with award-winning "American Bully" filmmaker Dave Rodriguez. Filmed on a rooftop in Brooklyn, the video captures the live intensity of Sinclarity with a stunning view of the New York skyline as a backdrop.

Everclear will return with a brand new studio album and major summer tour in 2012.
