HAMMERFALL: STRETCHED VERSION OF 'HEARTS ON FIRE' NOW AVAILABLE

How do you top a classic song with an equally classic video? That’s easy: you s-t-r-e-t-c-h it.

“Hearts On Fire” is a track off HAMMERFALL’s fourth album, Crimson Thunder, released in 2002. Later, a video featuring the 2006 Swedish Olympic Curling Team brought the song’s popularity to new heights. Now, the stretched version is currently available for streaming exclusively on MetalSucks.net.

HAMMERFALL guitarist Pontus Norgren turned “Hearts” into a 25-minute epic by stretching (i.e. slowing down) the song 666 times. He invites fans to “[j]ust close your eyes and enjoy this journey! I will contact Aqua Land in Stockholm an see if they want to use the song as a theme for the underwater park.”

Or perhaps the Swedish Embassy is in need of some new elevator music?

HAMMERFALL’s eighth studio album will be released in Europe on May 20th and in North America on June 7th.
