Brooklyn-based black metal band MUTILATION RITES will soon head out for another round of touring, this time hitting the midwest. The tour will start April 19 in Pittsburgh, PA and conclude on May 5 in Cleveland, OH.

The self-proclaimed "filthy black metal" quartet will be touring in advance of the release of their debut full-length, "Empyrean." Due May 22, the album -- which features the song "Realms of Dementia," which
Pitchfork recently premiered -- was produced by Kevin Bernsten (TRIAC) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, MD. A pre-order bundle consisting of the CD and t-shirt featuring the album's cover art is available at the Prosthetic Store HERE.
