WARBRINGER announces North American tour with DESTRUCTION; launches rehearsal video online

WARBRINGER have just successfully completed a 7-week (!) North America tour supporting metal titans ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X, but they are ready to be back on the road again soon! For their next North American tour, the band will join DESTRUCTION, VITAL REMAINS, and PATHOLOGY from May 8th to June 3rd, and after that, they'll appear at various high-profile Summer festival appearances in Europe. Vocalist John Kevill checked in to comment about these upcoming shows:

"Hey all! Checking in at the end of the ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X tour. We had a great time with those guys, there was a slew of incredible shows with awesome heavy metal fans in abundance, and a bunch of good times with both of those fine bands! Shame to say goodbye to them, but we're on our way home now to recuperate before beginning out next tour with German thrash metal legends DESTRUCTION, on their 30th anniversary tour! We never rest long, the war rages on! We'll see you guys out on the road again in May, prepare to be annihilated!

We're also very excited about the way our summer is shaping up. We have about a dozen European festivals confirmed and we look forward to sharing some amazing experiences ravaging the large crowds, big stages and all the fun times to be had with all the other great bands also performing."

Watch the video of the band performing the merciless track "Future Ages Gone" here.

This exclusive footage is available on a USB drive that the band sells on tour, so be sure to pick up yours when you see WARBRINGER live! In addition to featuring this video, the USB also includes all three studio albums and a four-song rehearsal video, making it the ultimate collector's piece for every WARBRINGER fan.

WARBRINGER released their latest effort, Worlds Torn Asunder, in September 2011 to rave reviews, peaking at #3 on the Metal charts and debuting at #11 on Billboard's Heatseekers. To purchase Worlds Torn Asunder, head over to iTunes or CM Distro for various album formats.

WARBRINGER guitarist Adam Carroll departs the band, Andrew Bennett steps in

As WARBRINGER begins their North American tour supporting ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X this week, it has been revealed that longtime guitarist Adam Carroll has decided to leave the band and last weekend's shows supporting DEATH ANGEL were his last.

"To all fans and friends, I, Adam Carroll, have officially quit WARBRINGER. I have financial issues at home that have to be addressed sooner than later. I hope you all can understand and respect my decision. It's been some of the best years of my life and I appreciate all the support you the fans have given us and continue to give. I will forever be part of the WARBRINGER family. Many thanks and until I see the rest of you again, keep the metal alive. Cheers!"

The band enlisted friend and talented, young guitarist Andrew Bennett for the purpose of filling in live for this tour with the hope that he may become a permanent member of the group as he continues his audition process where it matters most-- on the stage and in the van.

Comments Andrew Bennett, "Last month I received a message from the guys, which basically stated that Adam was requesting to step out. As a result, they were searching for a possible replacement who could learn the material in time for the upcoming ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X tour. I jumped at the opportunity and started learning some tracks. Around the beginning of this month I went down and jammed with the guys and the rest is history. I am eternally grateful to my friends in WARBRINGER for giving me the opportunity to play with them and I am very excited about what the future may hold. But, one thing that I would like to make clear is that I don't view myself as Adam's replacement, as much as I view myself as filling the position instead of him. Adam's work with the band and time with them is not something that can be erased and I would just like to make it clear that I respect him greatly. He has left big shoes to fill and I have a lot of work ahead of me if I am going to honor his legacy with the band. I'm looking forward to interacting with, and playing for the fans on the road! It's time to shred!"

WARBRINGER gives fans a behind-the-scen es look at the making-of their new music vide o, “Shattered Like Glass”!

For those that have been waiting patiently for new WARBRINGER content before the September 27th release of their upcoming album, "Worlds Torn Asunder", the band is now giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making-of their upcoming music video, "Shattered Like Glass"! Rather than churn out the "standard" live-in-an-abandoned-warehouse music video, WARBRINGER decided to give "Shattered Like Glass" a horror movie treatment with help from Director Dave Vorhes (http://www.bigfootage.net/) and actor Don Danielson (http://imdb.to/pbbfcn). To get your first preview of the music video, click the link below to see the making-of "Shattered Like Glass", filmed and edited by WARBRINGER's own John Laux (guitar)!

In regards to this behind-the-scenes video clip, John Laux comments, "We are very excited about the latest and greatest official WARBRINGER promo video clip! We had a great experience working with director Dave Vorhes and his team. They used a number of DIY style tricks to create a very unique and professional environment for the 'Shattered Like Glass' video. We had a blast using smoke and mirrors to escape the trappings of another metal warehouse video. The aim is to have a very dark, horror movie kind of feel in this video. We're looking forward to seeing the finished edited clip, which will be out before our new album is released Sept. 27th."

The music video for "Shattered Like Glass" will be posted online in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! More new material from WARBRINGER will be available soon! In the meantime, please check out the band's YouTube for Warblogs, guitar lessons, and more (http://www.youtube.com/user/WarbringerOfficial), plus their recently launched official website (www.warbringermusic.com).

Beginning October 3rd, WARBRINGER will be on the road for their headlining tour dubbed "America Torn Asunder". Sponsored by Guitar World and Metal Army, this month-long trek will take them around the country with support from friends LAZARUS A.D., LANDMINE MARATHON, and DIAMOND PLATE. Over the last 3 years, the Cali thrashers have built a reputation for their live shows and work ethic, playing an average of 300 shows per year--but this will mark WARBRINGER's first proper US headlining tour.

The band promises a few surprises to step up their performance, so make sure to attend. Advance tickets are on-sale now at www.enterthevault.com, and tour dates for "America Torn Asunder" are below.

WARBRINGER Announce New Drummer

Despite practicing and writing together the last two months WARBRINGER today make it publically official that Carlos Cruz (Hexen) is their new drummer. The delay in announcement was out of respect to their old drummer and Carlos' former band mates and there was no question about Carlos' playing, songwriting or personality as the band ironically offered Carlos the spot in 2008.

"After years of putting forth nothing but blood, sweat, and tears into my tireless ambitions for playing music, I have finally found an outlet where no more time is wasted. It was flattering to have been approached by Warbringer the first time they made a personnel change in 2008, but this time around it couldn't have felt more like perfect timing," states Carlos. "They're a collective group of humble, open-minded, down-to-earth guys who share the same fanaticism for music as I do and are the tightest musicians I have ever played with. I've never felt so welcomed and inspired to move forward. Even past members of the band have congratulated me and it feels very much like family, not just another band. From some recent serious downfalls in my personal life came this beautiful opportunity and I couldn't be happier. We'll be seeing all YOU Warbringers out on the road soon!"

Fans can see Carlos playing with the guys at his live debut in Mexico City on March 5th at the Eyescream Festival alongside Asesino, Anvil, Toxic Holocaust and Abigail Williams. WARBRINGER plan to record their third album in April with more live shows in May and June.
