HAVOK: Metal Injection Hosts Exclusive Video Premiere

Today popular video portal, Metal Injection, is hosting an exclusive video premiere of "D.O.A.," the latest work of cinematic awesomeness from Denver thrash sensations, HAVOK. The tune comes off the band's critically-lauded Time Is Up full-length, released via Candlelight Records earlier this year. The video was directed by Josh Gold and shot in various locations around Denver.

Commented vocalist/guitarist David Sanchez: "This video is a reflection of the lyrics to 'D.O.A.,' a song about drunk driving and smashing your face through the fucking windshield! It's a pretty brutal video for a brutal song."

Check out "D.O.A." HERE.

HAVOK recently completed a near month-long tour with Exhumed and Goatwhore, which proved to be a great success despite some van troubles. Said Sanchez of the trek: "The tour with was a blast! We had lots of great shows and met some rad people. It was great to finally hit the American Southeast. Up until this trip, we had never made it there before. Due to vehicle issues, we had to miss the last couple of shows. Our transmission blew up in the middle of nowhere in Texas and we're stuck here, as I write this. We plan on rescheduling those shows to make up for the ones we missed. In times like these, I can't help but remember a sacred adage that an old wise man once told me: 'Shit happens!'"

The band will return to the road this February for a short run of dates alongside English Dogs, The Casualties and Toxic Holocaust! The tour will commence on February 10 in Baltimore at the Ottobar and ravage its way towards the West Coast, coming to a close February 25 in Santa Ana at the Galaxy Theatre.

As crimson concertos such as “Dis-assembly Line,” “As Hammer To Anvil,” and “Funereality” illustrate, All Guts, No Glory is EXHUMED's finest moment to date.

HAVOK: In-Studio Video Premiere Via Metal Injection

In anticipation of the release of their upcoming new full-length, Time Is Up,  Denver thrashers HAVOK today unveil part I of their in-studio video footage. Brought to you by Metal Injection, the video takes you behind the scenes of the recording process with commentary from the members. Check it out HERE.
The  follow-up to HAVOK's fiery Burn debut, Time Is Up, which is already reaping praise from critics, features ten tracks of meticulously crafted thrash metal anthems that transcend far beyond any run-of-the-mill rethash projects.  Said Popdose of the offering: "This is easily the best thrash record of any type released since Toxic Holocaust dropped An Overdose of Death on us in 2008." Added Metal Assault in a 9/10 review: "...Time Is Up will turn out to be one of the thrash releases of the year. A furiously energetic effort, presenting thrash metal exactly the way it should be. Get this album when it comes out and mosh to some Havok!" Rock Hospital called Time Is Up, "... a killer sophomore effort by four dudes who do justice to their musical forefathers. Cliff Burton would smile on this release," while Metal Review agreed: "Havok’s purest intention is to thrash your face into a circle-pitted-pulp, and more often than not they're wildly successful."

Time Is Up will be released in North America on March 29 via Candlelight Records. For pre-order details visit
Candlelight USA.

Team HAVOK are readying for the release of their upcoming new full-length entitled Time Is Up, which is slated for a March 29th street date via Candlelight Records. The  follow-up to the ravaging Burn long-player was mastered by James Murphy and features ten tracks of flawlessly executed thrash anthems. Said Rock Hospital in an early review of the record: "Time Is Up is a killer sophomore effort by four dudes who do justice to their musical forefathers. Cliff Burton would smile on this release." Added Thrash Hits, "Playing a style of metal that has been around 30 years always runs the risk of feeling tired and overly derivative, but Time Is Up is so lively and bubbling over with personality that it never so much as flirts with those potential pitfalls." Metal Review agreed: "Havok’s purest intention is to thrash your face into a circle-pitted-pulp, and more often than not they're wildly successful."

HAVOK formed in 2004. After two self-released albums, the band caught the attention of England’s Candlelight Records and by the Spring of 2009, the band unleashed Burn to the metal masses. The album peaked on CMJ’s Loud Rock chart at 15 and broke MediaGuide’s Top 10.
