Spanish thrash metallers ANGELUS APATRIDA are back with a new studio album entitled The Call, which is to be released on April 30th in Europe and digitally on May 8th in North America via Century Media Records. A first taste of the relentless power displayed on The Call can now be experienced by checking out the dynamic opening track, "You Are Next" here.
In regards to the song and The Call, ANGELUS APATRIDA comments: "We think that 'The Call' is a record that represents the wide variety of styles and elements in our music extremely well; every song stands alone strong and unique in its own way, making the album a whole piece that needs to be heard completely to get the full idea of the sound of the band. But, if we had to choose one song to represent the whole thing, it would be 'You Are Next' because, both lyrical and musically, it showcases the anger and fury we wanted to put into this album, and also reflects the step forward we feel we have made technically. It's a song that starts slowly and trying to capture the listener before exploding into a furious sonic assault."
The same creative team that worked on the band's previous release, Clockwork, has teamed-up with them again for this new effort: it was once again recorded in Moita, Portugal at Ultrasound Studio with producer Daniel Cardoso (ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN, ANATHEMA, etc.) and the striking artwork was handled by Gustavo Sazes from Abstrata (ARCH ENEMY, KRISIUN, etc.). Goregrind henchmen EXHUMED are currently pulverizing the masses on the second leg of their North American tour with Goatwhore and Havok.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey from the road: “We’re really chuffed to by how the second leg of our Back From The Dead And Ready To Party tour has been going. The shows have been a shitload of fun and we're having a great time raging with the boys in Goatwhore and Havok. EXHUMED: Legendary Goregrinders To Kick Off North American Tour Later This Month
Goregrinding metal gods EXHUMED are readying to kick off the second leg of their Back From The Dead And Ready To Party North American Tour later this month. Set to commence on October 27 in Amarillo, Texas, the band will be touring in support of their All Guts, No Glory full-length released in July via Relapse Records.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey of the oncoming trek: "We're fully chuffed to hit the road with Goatwhore and Havok on the second leg of our Back From The Dead And Ready To Party North American tour. It's been way too long since we've played out on the East Coast. I can promise you a full-on autopsy holocaust doss of epic proportions! We'll be playing a ton of stuff from the new record, as well as all the moldy oldies the slaughtercult has come to expect, so come on out, grab a beer, and get ready to rage! See you there!"

Cover artwork was brought to life this time by artist Todd Hubber,who also works with vocalist Roger Miret on designing his street wear clothing line American Made Kustom (www.americanmadekustom.com).
Miret commented on the meaning behind the artwork: "The concept was to capture the D.I.Y. ethic and crude themed artistry of the early punk flyers, with a nod to the era of crime and pulp comic themes of the early 50's. Society deemed those materials as having no social redeeming values, and as a contributor to youth delinquency. Similarly outcasted were punk and hardcore in the early day for its aggressive, anti-authority message, and dangerous aura. My Life My Way is a throwback to the early days, and AGNOSTIC FRONT has proven that what society deems unredeeming, has been, still is, and will continue to be relevant."

The two records that started it all, United Blood and Victim in Pain, are legendary New York hardcore releases and some of the most sought-after pieces of vinyl for record collectors. Recently, these two releases were re-released via Bridge Nine Records.
AGNOSTIC FRONT's latest album, Warriors was released in North America on November 6, 2007 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was produced by MADBALL/HAZEN STREET frontman Freddy Cricien, who also happens to be Miret's younger brother. The engineering duties were handled by Zeuss at Planet Z in Hadley, Massachusetts.
