A Great Big Pile Of Leaves Announce Plans To Release Two EP's on Nov. 1

Brooklyn indie rock trio A Great Big Pile of Leaves will release two new EP’s on November 1st. Both EP’s consist of new and re-recorded songs and will be available digitally and on vinyl only.
The first, Live from the Living Room- Volume One, a joint release from Boston, MA’s Topshelf Records and Brookyn, NY indie, Pressing Matters, run by Motion City Soundtrack keyboardist Jesse Johnson, was recorded in Johnson’s living room. The second, a studio effort titled Boom, will be released by Topshelf Records.
More details regarding both releases will be announced shortly.
Described as a “whimsical, super-catchy, upbeat, foot-stomping, hand-clapping, sing-along good time,” A Great Big Pile of Leaves self-released an album titled Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex? in 2010, that was eventually picked up by upstart label Sinking Ship Records. That record immediately caught the ears of indie music fans and tastemakers alike. Since then the band has been busy supporting the likes of Hellogoodbye, Fake Problems, Appleseed Cast, Motion City Soundtrack, Say Anything, and Saves The Day.
