Agony
, the new album from Italian symphonic death metal act FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, sold 1,432 copies in the United States in its first week of sales according to Nielson Soundscan. The band came in at #18 on New Artist chart and at #35 on Current Hard Music Chart. Comparatively, the band’s 2009 LP Oracles has scanned 1,527 copies to date and their 2010 EP Mafia has scanned 1,214. Agony, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE’s Nuclear Blast Records debut, was released in North America on August 9th.Vocalist/guitarist Cristiano Trionfera commented:
