Having crisscrossed the United States and Canada for the past year on tour with the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Escape The Fate, The Used, and Hollywood Undead, rock band Drive A will partner with BitTorrent, Inc., a San Francisco-based innovator of advanced technologies to efficiently move large files across the Internet, to make their new album, ‘The World in Shambles,’ available to the world at-large.
Drive A has always exemplified a nontraditional approach and methodology to their career. The band started their own label, Dead Conflict Records, which produces their own albums and music videos, and is now looking at ways to embrace the power of the Internet by distributing their album directly to BitTorrent’s online community of over 100 million users worldwide.
“We are ecstatic to be able to make our album available to as many people as possible,” said Bruno Mascolo, singer/guitarist with Drive A. “We’re an independent band without a major label machine behind us and we approach our music with a different philosophy. · Existing users of the BitTorrent and µTorrent software may download the album directly in the App Studio located within the software’s interface.
