SKELETONWITCH's "Forever Abomination" Out Now, New Studio Video Posted

SKELETONWITCH's new album, Forever Abomination, is out today in North America; the album is also available now in Europe and will see a release in Japan on October 19th.

The band concluded a run supporting Arch Enemy and Devildriver and is now headlining select shows before joining forces with Kvelertak for a short run of dates. They will be participating in the Jaegermeister Music Tour, alongside Chimaira and Unearth later this fall. The group will kick off 2012 by supporting The Black Dahlia Murder in the UK and France.

Forever Abomination was recorded in Los Angeles over the summer with producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Children of Bodom). It will be issued in three formats: digital download; a six-panel, plastic-free digipak; and a triple-gatefold LP (which in turn will be available in several color variants). The album features artwork by Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Holy Grail, Cannabis Corpse), who also contributed the cover art for the band's 2009 release, Breathing The Fire. The track "Reduced to the Failure of Prayer" is now in rotation at Sirius/XM's Liquid Metal and can be requested at their Facebook page.

Over the last four years, SKELETONWITCH has performed alongside a who's who of modern heavy metal, including Amon Amarth, Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Mastodon, High On Fire and many more, in addition to participating in high-profile festival tours (Ozzfest, Danzig's Blackest of the Black). The group's last album, Breathing The Fire, cracked the Billboard Top 200 and peaked at #2 on the magazine's Heatseekers Chart.
