Carina Round Releases "Tigermending" on May 1

Carina Round, the eclectic LA-by-way-of-England singer, whom the LA Weekly recently said of: "Just when you think you have her pegged as a smart, sensitive and tuneful singer-songwriter type, she'll break into some freaky art-rock experimentation that raise goose bumps on your arms," is set to release Tigermending, an 11-track album produced by Round and Dan Burns on May 1 via Dehisce Records (distributed through The Orchard).

"Making my home in the creative circus of Los Angeles has allowed me the profound opportunity to develop a loving and supportive community of brilliant musicians, artists, photographers, videographers and other collaborators. I’ve been fortunate to work with and learn from some of my favorite artists old and new, which has opened me up to new roads of expression," explains Round. Collaborators on Tigermending include Dave Stewart and Brian Eno ("The Secret of Drowning") and Billy Corgan ("Got To Go - The L.A Song- 2000 years BC mix").

Written and recorded in 2011, Round describes the period working on Tigermending as one of "time and freedom to experiment and explore," which gave each song a unique personality, ranging from "guitar ragers, acoustic beauties, electronic epics, a little prog moment and all the good stuff in between with a strong backbone running through the whole record."

As Puscifer's opener on recent North American treks Round re-introduced herself to fans and critics with an incredibly strong reaction from both. The Orange County Register described her as "an adventurous English rocker who marshals her demons in much the same howling, dynamic manner as Patti Smith...," The Dallas Observer said of her set: "...she wowed the gathering audience... the Brit's material showed shades of Nick Cave, all while maintaining an original and unique feel," and Verbicide Magazine said "her gorgeous voice reverberated through the theater."

Puscifer Return to the Road for 2012 Conditions of My Parole Tour

Puscifer, the eclectic music-meets-comedy troupe helmed by Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle), return to the road on Feb. 23 in support of their recently released album, Conditions of My Parole (Oct. 18, Puscifer Entertainment).

The band's live performances are not to be missed. Keenan brings the unconventional atmosphere of the Verde Valley to life with a musically driven evening that merges technology, quirky characters and comedy, The Boston Globe referred to the shows as "musical theater" and the Philadelphia Weekly described the set as an "engaging performance with hilarious pre-recorded between-song skits featuring MJK alter-egos Major Douche and white-trash hero Billy D." The band celebrated the release of their sophomore album with an in-character Halloween performance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Puscifer's touring band members are Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, Josh Eustis, Carina Round, Matt McJunkins and Jeff Friedl.

Tickets for all shows go on-sale Friday, Dec. 16 via venue box offices, as well as Ticketmaster and Live Nation websites. A limited number of VIP packages, featuring wine tastings and VIP experiences will be available simultaneously via http://puscifer.frontgatetickets.com.
