AWOLNATION release Megalithic Mayhem game for free on iTunes app store

AWOLNATION has once again embraced cutting edge technology by releasing the innovative app for their new comic, action video game Megalithic Mayhem, designed for both iPhone and iPad. The game, inspired by the group’s surreal, animated music video for their latest top 5 hit single, “Not Your Fault,” is free and now available for download exclusively through iTunes App Store: http://bit.ly/y5cEpw. Megalithic Mayhem, the band’s latest creative endeavor, stars the characters (actually band members) of AWOLNATION battling the creatures featured in their latest video for the single “Not Your Fault.” Three different interactive scenes include the Arctic battling the abominable yeti, bomb throwing penguins and samurai snowmen, on the beach fighting reptilian creatures from the black lagoon, and on the moon pitted against aliens and spaceships.

Gamers can choose to play as the loveable characters “Aaron” with his unique powers of vocals and lightning, or “Dave” with his powers of bass and bat. As you advance to higher levels in the game, players will receive codes to unlock and activate other character members of the band: keyboardist/guitarist “Kenny,” drummer “Hayden” and guitarist “Christopher,” each with their own unique weapons and special attacks. Redlight King Tour with Everlast

Fresh off a summer tour with AWOLNATION, REDLIGHT KING is ready to head back on the road in support of their current single "Bullet In My Hand," a ferocious blend of rock with rhythmic undertones that has anthem written all over it. The band will tour with GRAMMY Award-winner Everlast whose 1998 breakthrough, the multi-platinum Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, topped the Billboard charts and sold more than 3 million copies. Redlight King will join the tour November 4th in Boston, MA.

Redlight King recently released an official video for, "Bullet In My Hand," which is available to watch now. Lead singer, Kaz, talked a little about the meaning behind the video and the theme of the song stating:

"I grew up around the Hamilton Airport and when I was a little kid, my Dad would take us to the airshow to watch the old planes. My grandfather was squadron leader of the 305 Polish Bomb Squadron in the Air force and flew the DeHavilland Mosquito and The Lancaster Bomber, most notably, so I've always been infatuated with WW2. There are only two flying Lancaster bombers in the world right now and one is located in my hometown of Hamilton, ON. I thought it would be cool to tie the spirit of the bomber and the hardships my grandfather went through with the band and the song ‘Bullet In My Hand’. The song represents a time in my life where I was lost, I was down and out. It’s about fighting your demons and having the strength to make a decision to move on. Instead of using the last bullet on yourself, you can get up, wipe the dirt off and start again."

AWOLNATION release video trailer for upcoming Fall Harvest Tour

The band's runaway radio juggernaut "Sail" has been Top 5 on the Alternative Songs charts for five weeks straight, is currently climbing the Active Rock chart and has cracked the Top 40. “Sail” hit #1 in Canada and was recently certified platinum. The track is currently being used in promos for the upcoming season of the FOX television drama House. AWOLNATION premiere "Jump On My Shoulders" clip on Alt Press

AWOLNATION are currently premiering a live clip of the song "Jump On My Shoulders" on Alt Press. The clip was filmed at the band's recent gig at La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas and features the band at their most energetic. "Jump On My Shoulders" is featured on the band's critically acclaimed debut album Megalithic Symphony which is now on sale at Best Buy for $5.99.

Since its release, Megalithic Symphony, and the single "Sail" have continued to climb the charts. The album was named one of iTunes Top 20 albums of 2011.
